Millennials on the move!!

Moving to Atlanta part 1

On the way to a new city !!!

Yess I just announced that I moved to Atlanta and while this looked like a quick move, it’s literally been a work in progress for about 5 months. So let’s rewind January 2020

I was getting set to move out of the country to teach abroad… guess where ?? CHINA crazy right?? Well that’s another story for another day so that didn’t happen because you know Covid 19 but neither here are there… the pandemic happened and it came full force.

I never really thought about moving to Atlanta I always wanted to move to Los Angeles that’s my dream. Although it’s to far out of the reach and everyone I knew that was content creators that I talked to said they lived in Atlanta.

I love creating content and Kentucky was just not doing it for me so I started networking, applying for jobs and trying to start this new adventure.

I was like okay they ‘content creators’ say Atlanta is poppin and a great move… well maybe that was pre pandemic. I was applying and applying and only getting part time jobs or no’s honestly but I didn’t let that get me down until about July lol.

I finally landed a job low pay but benefits that’s another story for another day. Although I had a roommate but no housing. (That’s another story) moving during a pandemic is so wild and so hard because the economy is down, scarce job market and ultimately everyone is trying to figure things out.

I just decided to take a leap of faith and we are going to see how this goes. So if you are ready for the adventure make sure to subscribe to the blog.

The vlog will be out tomorrow on my YouTube channel AlieshiasAdventures at 3pm here is the link to subscribe!!
