<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So when you go to college you hear people say, “get a loan, get a loan.” </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I’m like okay although I got a scholarship it was still not enough and I took out some loans not that many because I know you had to pay them back. Reason #1 I didn’t go to an HBCU because private institutions are expensive…. #2 I didn’t want to go out of state because that was definitely more expensive&#8230; #3 because I live in Kentucky and they have a program called KEES basically you get money for your grades and test scores.. Well beyond unpopular belief I really didn’t get that much money but all that matters was it was free money that I wasn&#8217;t wanting to give up.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fast forward to when I graduated from Undergraduate I was in debt but not that much honestly but it was only like $20,000. You would have thought that I would have stopped and ; not have ; gone into ; more debt ; right? Welp that didn’t go as planned I just had to get a masters degree. Boy did I play myself so I had another brief scholarship but I was smart and did not take out a lot of loans but I still needed to live so when I graduated with my two degrees I was 60,000 in debt and I really just started putting it out there and I also just started sharing it because I was like this is crazy no one talks about how to pay this back and get this part, I couldn’t even find a job after I still am unemployed I think that is more of what I am ashamed of rather than actually being in debt but what do I know? ;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I know that you should not be ashamed of being in debt, rather you should just try to find ways to eliminate it and not take so much out because these interest rates are crazy. So if you are about to graduate or already graduate and want to become debt free and have financial freedom I want you to join me on this journey. ;</p>
